The assessment structure and examination have been prepared by CBSE in view of the provisions of RTE-Act 2009 and comprises of two terms i.e Term 1 and Term 2 as explained in the table below:

Yearly Exam
Written exam for 80 marks with syllabus coverage as below:
Class VI: 10% of 1st term + entire 2nd term
Class VII: 20% of 1st term + entire 2nd term
Class VIII: 30% of 1st term + entire 2nd term

Languages: Aimed at equipping the students to develop effective listening and speaking skills. Kids International School has devised its own methods and parameters for assessment of the languages.

Mathematics: Teaching mathematics is aimed at relating that to real life situations. Activities are provided in the lab to give concrete experience.

Science: Practical work and activities in Science will be undertaken as suggested by NCERT syllabus and textbooks.

Social Science: Map work and other project work will be undertaken as suggested by the NCERT syllabus and textbooks.
